Job Summary:
- The Plant Safety Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, and enforcing safety programs, policies, and procedures within the aerospace manufacturing facility. This role ensures compliance with national and international aerospace safety standards, promotes a strong safety culture, and mitigates risks associated with high-precision manufacturing, hazardous materials, and complex production processes.

Job Description and Scope
Safety Management & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain plant-wide safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA, ISO 45001, AS9100, environmental guidelines, and local statutory rules).
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
- Maintain documentation for safety certifications and regulatory inspections.
Risk Assessment & Hazard Mitigation
- Lead risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and hazard identification processes.
- Implement control measures for high-risk aerospace processes.
- Oversee hazardous materials management and waste disposal.
Training & Safety Culture Development
- Develop and deliver safety training programs.
- Ensure understanding of emergency procedures and PPE requirements.
Incident Management
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses.
- Maintain records of incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership.
Emergency Preparedness
- Manage emergency response programs.
- Conduct evacuation drills and crisis management training.
- Coordinate with external emergency agencies.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive improvements to enhance safety performance.
- Analyze safety data to track KPIs.
- Introduce modern safety technologies where applicable.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in plant safety management.
- Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes.
