  • The Process Champion is the operational glue of the Avionics and Autonomy division. This role is responsible for synchronizing high-velocity engineering workflows with the rigorous compliance frameworks of global and local aerospace authorities. You wil drive internal coordination between Engineering, Procurement, and Program Management, ensuring that every hardware assembly and software build is developed, tested, and documented to meet DGCA CAR-21 and AS9100D standards.

Key Responsibilities
 1. Internal Coordination & Project Lifecycle
  • Cross-Functional Integration: Act as the primary interface between the technical engineering team and the Program Management, Procurement, and Operations departments.
  • Timeline Stewardship: Maintain and track internal engineering milestones, ensuring that hardware procurement cycles align with software sprint releases and system integration windows.
  • Resource Synchronization: Coordinate the availability of lab resources, test benches (HIL/SIL), and engineering prototypes to eliminate bottlenecks in the development cycle.
2. Process Assurance & Regulatory Compliance
  • Standard Adherence: Serve as the internal subject matter expert for process compliance under ARP4754B (Systems), DO-178C (Software), and DO-254 (Hardware).
  • QMS Management: Maintain and audit internal processes to ensure continuous alignment with AS9100D Quality Management Systems.
  • DGCA CAR-21 Compliance: Ensure al design and production data is generated and managed in accordance with CAR-21 requirements for Type Certification (TC) and Production Organisation Approval (POA).
  • Champion Systems Engineering Processes in the team and ensure compliance with ARP4754 and that requirements are captured
 3. Test Management & Documentation
  • Traceability Oversight: Ensure the "Golden Thread" of traceability from high-level requirements to test cases and final verification results is maintained within internal ALM/PLM tools.
  • Artifact Quality Control: Perform rigorous process assurance checks on internal engineering artifacts (Test Plans, Design Descriptions, and Verification Logs) before formal review.
Configuration Control: Manage the internal release cycle of avionics hardware and autonomy software builds to ensure consistency across al testing environments.
4. Internal Procurement & Operations Support
  • BOM & Lead-Time Tracking: Partner with Procurement to monitor long-lead avionics components and specialized sensors, ensuring the engineering team has hardware ready for integration.
  • Logistics Coordination: Work with Operations to manage the movement of flight-critical hardware between the lab, manufacturing floor, and test sites.
