We are seeking a skilled and reliable Accountant to manage all accounting operations at our Pune office. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information, maintain local financial records, and support the overall financial health of the location.

Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements specific to the local office.
2. Maintain and reconcile local general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
3. Manage local invoicing, collections, and payment processing, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
4. Assist in the preparation of local budgets and financial forecasts.
5. Prepare and file local tax returns, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
6. Support local audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
7. Monitor and analyze local expenditures to ensure they are within the allocated budget.
8. Conduct financial analysis specific to the local office to support decision-making processes.
9. Identify and implement improvements to local accounting processes and systems.
10. Coordination: Liaise with the head office and other local offices to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting and practices.

Qualification
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience
3. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
4 Strong understanding of local accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
