We are looking to hire a DGCA certified UAV Pilot with 3+ years of experience with UAVs and should be comfortable working outdoors in a remote environment. He/she will be working with the engineering team for development and improvement of the UAV so a strong understanding of engineering concepts is a must.
Requirements:
Must have-
Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) for “Small Drone” category (up to 25 kg) from DGCA approved Flying Training Organization (FTO)
Experience of flying Multirotor and Fixed-wing UAVs
Experience in using various Flight Controllers of the Pixhawk family like Pixhawk Cube Orange, Pixhawk 4 etc.
Experience with ArduCopter, ArduPlane, and PX4 firmwares.
Experience in configuring and troubleshooting UAVs through various GCS software, like Mission Planner, QGroundControl, DJI Assistant , etc.
Experience in integrating, operating and PID tuning of UAVs for Autonomous flights
Experience in planning autonomous missions
Documentation skills for Flight Logs and test report of tuning and mission flights.
Knowledge of National Airspace System, Drone Rules and regulations, Digital Sky platform, etc.
Experience in assembly, maintenance, testing and troubleshooting for drone’s systems
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
Good to have-
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Experience with Hybrid Fixed wing + VTOL UAVs
Experience in planning and executing land survey and mapping missions for mines, pipelines, fields etc
Experience in post-processing of mapping data
Experience with programming languages for engineering use (C++, MATLAB, Python).
