Navigation Engineer: Motion Planning

Work on developing algorithms for generating motion planning and path planning of autonomous aerial vehicles. The role would encompass constrained motion planning in 3D, real-time dynamic planning algorithm development, and behavior modeling.


Must have:

● Strong programming skills in C++ and Python

● Understanding of path planning algorithms like A*, RRT, BIT

● Proficient with Kindoynamic planning algorithms

● Experience in developing using ROS

● Excellent with Linear Algebra, Geometry, Probability and Statistics

● Experience with simulation of algorithms in a Linux-based platform

● Experience with continuous-time optimization algorithms or optimization libraries like NLopt, qpOASES, IPOPT

● Conceptual understanding of geometric representations like splines, polyhedrons, polynomials


Good to have:

● Worked on developing control algorithms and/or motion planning algorithms

● Experience with modeling behaviors of other agents in the environment

● Motion Planning under uncertainty

● Model Predictive Control

● Code optimisation for embedded devices

● Worked on Nvidia based compute boards

● Writing low-latency, real-time code

● Ability to work with a distributed and diverse team of researchers, developers, and engineers

● Ready to learn new concepts, stay up-to-date with the state-of-the-art in the field and implement them
